Rochdale Community Transport evolved from a small organisation set up by parents and volunteers to transport school children to and from schools. With the help of Greater Manchester Passenger Transport Executive GMPTE and the management of Deeplish Community Centre, Rochdale CT was set up.

Funding streams were identified and the RCT organisational structure was realised. A charitable status was achieved and RCT was registered as a company limited by guarantee.

RCT now runs a number of transport services each serving various user groups. Details of some of the transport services and projects that we are involved in can be viewed using the links on the left hand side.
